Ashwell Maintenance is looking for a full-time Commercial Gas Engineer to join our friendly, long-established team. We mainly work in schools and public sector buildings throughout Leicestershire, servicing a wide range of commercial heating systems — and some domestic (but no residential homes).

This is a permanent position with stable, year-round work. We’re a small, supportive company with many long-standing clients — some for over 30 years.

About the Role:

  • Servicing and repairing commercial boilers and gas installations, heating systems, and general plumbing

  • Working independently and as part of a team across a variety of public buildings

  • Based in and around Leicestershire

  • Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts

  • Overtime paid at 1.5× after 8 hours

What You’ll Need:

  • Strong experience with commercial appliances, gas installations and heating systems

  • Good knowledge of general plumbing

  • Ability to work under your own supervision

  • Driving licence (required)

  • Own hand tools
